Indigenous Mental Health Services
 

Indigenous Mental Health Services are available for aboriginal and metis people 16 years of age and over who are facing mental health issues.
 

The program aims at providing services that are culturally safe for the indigenous clients.  Our holistic approach promotes spiritual, emotional, mental  and physical wellbeing.  

 

Our First Nations, Metis and Inuit Mental Health Counsellor (FNMI Counsellor) will integrate contemporary interventions with a traditional cultural healing approach. Service options that respect your values and beliefs will be provided to you.

After an initial assessment, the FNMI Counsellor will determine with you your goals and plan for your recovery.
